The Ultrasonic Bark Control was built specifically to stop dogs from excessive barking. The Ultrasonic Bark Control's sleek, unobtrusive designed can be placed discretely on a counter, table or floor. When a dog barks within the 25 foot range of the Ultrasonic Bark Control device, it emits a high-pitched tone that humans can’t hear but will be very disconcerting for your dog. This unpleasant noise startles the dog and stops the barking immediately. He or she quickly learns that barking causes an even more unpleasant noise, and reduces his or her excessive barking. The Bark Control unit can be set manually or to trigger automatically by a dog's barking. It requires a (not included) 9-volt battery to operate.
We bought this unit three days ago and finally we have peace! One bark and all is quiet. He can still make other dog noises and soft barks to communicate with us, without it activating. Our 16 month old Doberman seems calmer and content, everyone is happy again. Next I will take it in the car, were he barks till he foams at the mouth, spits on me and I have to wear earplugs.
