Perfect Bark Technology
“Perfect Bark” Technology is the most effective bark sensor on the market. Similar products are triggered by either sound or vibration; Perfect Bark uses both. The Bark Control Collar uses dual-detection to discern each bark from other external disturbances. A static electricity correction charge is administered only if both the vibration from the vocal chords and the sound from the bark match. This greatly reduces the potential for false triggers of the device which will confuse the dog and deter the training process.
Temperament Learning System
The Bark Control Collar utilizes the “Temperament Learning System,” which tailors the training process to your individual dog, based on its breed and barking habit. The PetSafe Bark Control Collar will track the number of corrections needed to reduce the number of nuisance barks. Very often the problem will be eliminated entirely.
10 auto-adjusting correction levelsThe PetSafe Bark Control Collar has 10 levels of correction. When a dog starts the training program the collar will emit the lowest-level charges upon barking. As the barking continues, the intensity will increase. Eventually the appropriate level will be established for your dog. Then, once the dog has learned to reduce the barking, the corrections are reduced. As a built-in safety feature, if your dog barks 15 times or more within a one minute and 20 seconds, the Bark Control Collar will disable for a period of three minutes.
